Networking

WAMCA's events and working groups connect people across all nine manufacturing sectors, building contacts a single-industry association's calendar would not produce.

WAMCA

One Global Network. Nine Specialist Associations.

Connecting industries, expertise and opportunity across global manufacturing.

One Network Spanning Nine Sectors

Networking within a single sector association reaches that sector's own members. WAMCA's events and working groups bring together people from all nine (automotive, agriculture, chemicals, construction materials, equipment, food & beverage, metal products, pharma, and textiles), connections a single-industry association's own event calendar wouldn't otherwise produce. The lack of structured networking is one of the specific gaps the network was set up to close. Useful manufacturing contacts tend to be made through people who already know the sector, which leaves a company with no existing route into a neighbouring industry unlikely to find one on its own. The intended outcome is concrete rather than general: finding a cooperation partner, starting cooperation, or opening a conversation that would not have happened inside one industry alone.
